Jamsil Tourism District
Jamsil Tourism District is a family, tourism, and sports complex in Jamsil-dong, Songpa-gu, combining Lotte World, Jamsil Sports Complex, Lotte World Mall·Tower, and Hangang Park. Crowds flock year-round for the theme park, shopping, baseball, and concerts.
Jamsil redevelopment and the sports complex in the 1970s and Lotte World's opening in the 1980s made it a family destination. In the 2010s Lotte World Tower·Mall added shopping, views, and tourism.
Lotte World, aquarium, sky deck, Jamsil Baseball Stadium and dome concerts, and Hangang outings are all in one place, so families, couples, and tourists dominate on weekends and holidays. Commuters and students add to weekday foot traffic.
