Gangnam Station
Gangnam Station is a major hub where Lines 2, Suin-Bundang, and Shinbundang meet. Shopping, meetings, restaurants, and transport converge, making it one of the busiest spots in the country by foot traffic.
It became Gangnam's gateway with Line 2 in 1982; Bundang Line (2003) and Shinbundang Line (2011) made it a transfer hub. From the 2010s, underground malls and station-area redevelopment intensified the commercial density.
People gather 24 hours for commuting, shopping, meetings, and meet-ups. Underground malls, ground-level retail, and bus transfers keep real-time population among the highest in Seoul.
