Ttukseom Station

Ttukseom Station is on Line 2 in Ttukseom-dong, Seongdong-gu, near Ttukseom Resort, Hangang Park, and Seongsu Cafe Street. Commuters, weekend visitors, and cafe and restaurant goers are many.

History & background

It became the gateway to the Han River at Ttukseom when Line 2 opened in 1980. Han River redevelopment and Seongsu cafe street growth in the 2000s boosted weekend foot traffic.

Why it's famous

Line 2 brings commuters to/from Gangnam, Konkuk Univ., and Hongdae; Han River and Seongsu date and cafe visitors overlap. Connection to Ttukseom Hangang Park and Seongsu keeps real-time population high.
