Seolleung Station

Seolleung Station is a transfer for Line 2 and Bundang Line in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu. It connects to Seolleung, Jeongneung, Teheran-ro, and Gangnam business district; commute, lunch, and meeting traffic are very heavy.

History & background

It opened with Line 2 in 1982 and became a transfer station when the Bundang Line was extended in 2012. Adjacent to Teheran-ro and Gangnam finance and IT, foot traffic is always high.

Why it's famous

Transfer and access to Teheran-ro and Seolleung draw weekday rush, lunch, and evening meeting crowds. Real-time population stays among the highest for Gangnam-area stations.
