Sillim Station

Sillim Station is on Line 2 in Sillim-dong, Gwanak-gu, at the heart of Sillim, Bongcheon, and Seoul National University university and commercial districts. School, commute, shopping, and dining traffic are very heavy.

History & background

It opened with Line 2 in 1984. Sillim downtown, university district, and dense housing keep foot traffic high; from the 2010s, restaurant and cafe streets expanded and weekend visitors increased.

Why it's famous

Seoul National University and Gwanak commute and school traffic overlap with Sillim restaurants and shopping. Real-time population is high at lunch, dinner, and weekend evenings.

Subway Line 2 Sillim Station. City bus to Sillim Station and Sillim-dong. Walking to Sillim downtown and Seoul National University.
