Chongshin University (Isu) Station

Chongshin University (Isu) Station is a transfer for Lines 4 and 7 in Isu-dong, Dongjak-gu. Chongshin University, Sadang, and Gangnam commute, school, and shopping traffic concentrate here.

History & background

It opened as Isu Station with Line 4 in 1985 and became a transfer station when Line 7 was added in 2000. Connected to Chongshin University, Sadang, and the southern belt, foot traffic is steady.

Why it's famous

Transfer brings Gangnam, Sadang, and downtown commuters and Chongshin University school and station-area restaurant traffic. Real-time population is high at rush and lunch.
