Yeongdeungpo Times Square

Yeongdeungpo Times Square is a large mixed shopping, cinema, and entertainment complex in Yeongdeungpo-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu. Directly linked to Yeongdeungpo Station on Lines 2 and 5; shopping, cinema, and dining traffic are heavy.

History & background

In 2009 Times Square, Hyundai Department Store, CGV, and others opened in the Yeongdeungpo station area, making it western Seoul's main shopping and culture space. Weekend and year-end family and couple visitors are very many.

Why it's famous

Shopping, cinema, food court, and department store in one place; real-time population is very high on weekends and in the evening. Yeongdeungpo Station transfer and shopping crowds overlap.
