DDP (Dongdaemun Design Plaza)
DDP (Dongdaemun Design Plaza) is a landmark mixed culture, design, and exhibition space in Eulji-ro, Dongdaemun-gu. Within walking distance of Dongdaemun Market and Fashion Town; exhibition, shopping, night view, and tourism traffic are very heavy.
Designed by Zaha Hadid, it opened in 2014 on the site of Dongdaemun Stadium. It became the symbol of Dongdaemun tourism, fashion, and design; 24-hour night view, exhibitions, and fashion week keep foot traffic high.
Distinctive form, night view, exhibitions, and fashion week in one place; tourists, shoppers, and photo visitors are steady. Real-time population is very high on weekends and in the evening.
