Namsan Park

Namsan Park is a central urban mountain park spanning Jung-gu and Yongsan-gu. N Seoul Tower, Namsan cable car, and walkways; view, tourism, hiking, and dating traffic are very heavy.

History & background

Regarded as Seoul's guardian mountain since the Joseon period; Namsan Tower (now N Seoul Tower) was built in 1969. Cable car, loop bus, and walkways in the 2000s made it a tourist destination.

Why it's famous

N Seoul Tower view, cable car, and walking in one place; domestic and international tourists and dating crowds are steady. Real-time population is very high on weekends and in the evening and at night.

Subway Line 4 Myeong-dong and Hoehyeon, Lines 3·4 Chungmuro. Namsan loop bus and cable car. Walking to Namsan trail and N Seoul Tower.
