Achasan

Achasan is an urban mountain park on the Gwangjin-gu–Jungnang-gu border. Achasan Fortress, trails, and observatory; hiking, walking, and history visits are heavy; weekend hikers flock.

History & background

Achasan Fortress dates to the Three Kingdoms period; the fortress site and trails are now maintained. It is a major hiking and rest course in eastern Seoul.
