Yanghwa Hangang Park

Yanghwa Hangang Park is a section of Hangang Park along the river on the Yeongdeungpo-gu–Mapo-gu border. Yanghwa Bridge, bicycle path, lawns; cycling, walking, and picnic traffic are heavy.

History & background

The Yanghwa section was parkified in the Han River development; bicycle path and lawns were improved. Near Hongdae and Hapjeong, popular as an outing course for young people.

Why it's famous

Cycling, lawns, and Han River view in one place; weekend and spring/autumn outing crowds flock. Real-time population is high on fine days.

Transport & access

Subway Line 2 Hapjeong and Hongik University. City bus to Yanghwa Hangang Park and Yanghwa Bridge. Bicycle and walk to Han River path.
