World Cup Park

World Cup Park is a large environment and rest park in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu. Nanji Campground, Sky Park, Peace Park, Sunset Park; camping, walking, views, and outing traffic are heavy.

History & background

In 2002 the former landfill Nanji Island was restored and developed as World Cup Park. Sky Park and Nanji Campground made it western Seoul's main rest space.

Why it's famous

Sky Park, camping, and views in one place; weekend and spring/autumn outing crowds flock. Real-time population is very high in spring flower and autumn grass seasons.

Transport & access

Subway Line 6 World Cup Stadium and Sangam. City bus to World Cup Park and Sky Park. On foot and shuttle to Sky Park and Nanji Campground.
